Front-End Web Developer / Designer

You will be working with an experienced and successful management team and other motivated individuals to exploit this exciting opportunity.

We have an immediate need for a Front-End Designer/Developer. Must have experience in front-end web development, usability and graphic design, as well as strength in the newest web technologies and functionality.

Duties include:

• Project Design and Build

• New Product/Template Design/Programming

Experience and Skills Required:

• Graphic Design: Solid understanding of user interface design principles and practices.

• Extensive experience in web/interactive design using HTML and CSS best practices, as well as SVG graphics and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator design tools.

• Front-end web/interactive development, UI/UX development: Comfortable with coding.

• Extensive experience working with web/interactive projects. Understanding of user behavior, interactive design, animation, transitions, user feedback.

• Familiarity with JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, Node, Angular, as well as an understanding of server-side scripting (such as ASP/VBScript, PHP, JSP, XML, etc.)

• Video editing and web display experience is a plus.

Pay is commensurate with experience.

Local candidates strongly preferred.

Job Type: Independent contractor with potential to convert to full time employment within 60 - 90 days.
